TWIST

 

A dança "Twist" surgiu na Geórgia e foi um marco  no panorama musical das décadas de 50 e 60.

"The Twist" é uma música de 1960, da autoria do cantor americano Chubby Checker, que tornou popular esse tipo de dança.

Esse autor compôs outras músicas do mesmo gênero, mas, para dançá-la bem, é preciso ter noção de ritmo, além de coordenação motora suficiente para trabalhar os membros do corpo separadamente.Entender a música, sentir a música e o corpo em harmonia.
